Oh Saga..

Like yesterday, it's raining again in KK. I went through today's weather forecast, this wont cease till Saturday. Hmmmm... Anyway, i know this blog is lack of updates. It doesnt simply mean i'm busy. It's just that i dont have anything to post yet i dont want to try hard to make one. LOL. However i have to tell you people about my 1st time car service in Proton edar at Kolombong. No i dont have any issues with the people working there but it's proton. The car has reached 3000km when i decided to send it for service. 2k km in excess but this new Saga still serving me well. We use this car to Sandakan, and i think dad only spent rm100 for fuel, going back and forth to KK that is.
So anyway, I asked dad to send my car for service as i was so occupied with 'things' on that day. I handed him the so called coupons for 'free' service and i already booked the session at 9.00am so dad wont have to wait. In short,i already settle everything, dad just have to bring the car and monitor the process.
I thought everything is alright until i received dad's call. I have to fork out RM109.61 for the lube and oil filter, as the rest are still in good condition konon. I just cant accept the way they manipulate the term 'free'. If they can give me 2 years of free road tax, then it is possible bah if they give me the so called 'free' maintenance service till 20000km, or perhaps 5000km will do lah. But guess what, only labor fee is free. I mean watefak man? Watefak?! Should have state it clearly in that service-booklet. I feel so cheated lah proton. I love the saga, and the salesman but i dont love your service,and your not-so-free term. Can you just work out on that simple thing first before selling those mpv? Haihhh....Fyi,the car will reached 5k km by the end of this month and no thanks, i wont send it to proton edar anymore.

Wah, akhirnya post yg ditunggu2 :) ya mell agree wif u.. btul tu.. mimang tu la masalah dia yg sebenarnya... kami pernah pg bgaduh lg sana tu. huh! buang karan btul!!

sda sy nampak glimpse ni kereta d cni la akhirnya..keh keh keh cuma mo tunggu kana kasi naik sja ni...hihihi next holiday k! set! ngeh3 o ya..auto ka manual tu mell?

Bisnes mmg begitu. Sama la if dorg kasi warranty barang, if ada rusak dlm tempoh warranty, dorg tetap akan buat ko bayar jg.

Max: Nda la,kereta idaman sy Vios atau Hummer. haha. Sy beli Saga pun sebab pengaruh Vios,biarpun jaaaaaauuuuuuhhhh betul beza dia.

Nadia: Mesti mau sound2 dorang tu supaya dorang tidak berani mau tipu2 and malas2 cek kerita. And during servicing, pegi masuk seja dalam tu restriction area. My dad did that,and that's why dia tidak puas hati lgsg.

BH: Itu la,patutnya dorang cakap seja "Free: Labor fee only" bah.

Claire: Sy sbg customer perlu diterangkan dgn lebih lanjut ba pasal tu.

HoneyBUZZin: Ada ba jg yg free, tu roadtax. Kes yg ni,teda yg pusing2 cakap,memang tidak kena mention langsung. So apa la niat dorang tu? ;)

Adora: Ya,and i bet dorang selalu dapat complain.

Wel: Bila lagi ba sy marah ni? haha. Just imagine ba, dorang can give me free road tax for 2 years, at least for first 1000km they shud give me free service what? That's the rational behind that 'free' thingy bah,bukan sy innocent2 mau fikir it should be free.

Of course maintenance bukan murah,but i believe tidaklah semahal 109.61 utk lube and oil filter sahaja. 2 engineers and 1 custom officer told me that.LOL.

hmm...then u shud ask around la actually before anything...before i went last time pun i ask all my frens about it..and they all said the same thing...labor fee sja yg free tu..and infact the salesman yg urus pembelian kreta tu ada jg bgtau secara bersahaja yg labor fee sja kana cover...it's all business tu mell...secara calculative...either one sja dorang opt kali tu sb 2years road tax sama 1st service lbh kurang sja jumlah dia....huhu

btw, mmg tu kalau p service di sana...sama la jg mcm perodua, toyota...most of my frens don't send to this service centre anymore after some time..mahal ja lbh...yg kin panas aritu ms sy antar kreta..suda sy ckp kasi bgs tu ini...after service msh sama jg...buds...hehe

at least u knw already la after this kan...jd kita mo boikot durang ka ni mell? jum...heheh

hemmmm... ya bah Mell... at least derang kasi tau awal2 dalam cupon FREE tu kan... "Free Labor for bla bla period" explanations... explainations...e to!! haha

well, i have to spent RM102 for new battery for my kapcai.. guess why, sebab sa nda terSTART 2 weeks ++ during my cuti panjang.. zaman kemunduran ekonomi lagi ni.. >.<

Yeah, that's Proton for ya, only the labor is free, they also "increase" the parts prices to cover the "free" service.

I used to send my car to Proton until the 2 year warranty ended. Reason being, though it's expensive, if you service outside, and the mechanic can't solve the problem, but has serviced your car before, it gives the dunguloids at Proton to make an excuse and charge you even more, saying that some parts have been tampered.

That's why Proton is going backwards.

Claire: ui,sy punya salesman teda bagitau secara bersahaja oo pasal tu. Dia sendiri cakap "Free Service tuh,jgn lupa bawa tu kupon ah". But even he didnt tell me pun, dalam service booklet tu perlu mention betul2 ba. Mana boleh they expect the customer to seek that kind of info from others only bah, they are the one who should provide that info to the customers.

Seriously lah claire,if i ask the people around about proton,based on their so called knowledge, i wont buy the car at all. Nasib baik jg sy rajin baca forum. hehehe.

mmm...tu jg yg sy buat sblm decide beli kreta aritu...abis semua org sy tny...yg ada pengalaman beli kreta proton mahupun yg teda...p servay d kedai2 kreta...buat calculation...hehe kasi compare...ngam budget then okay for the long run...

tp nda la mau ckp lg psl tu..suda beli jg kn...ok ba tu...asal kau sayang2 dia selalu...hehe kreta cantik dan bagus mana pun kalau sembarang ja nda jaga..langgar itu ini sama jg tu...lagpun dr article yg sy baca aritu..proton semakin bagus jg skg... ;)

Gallivanter: It has become their pattern right, i heard that from other forumers too. Well,whatever happens i wont send that car to proton anymore.

Terpaksa lah ko hantar your car to other proton punya service centre..since your car baru, you cannot pigi service your car di workshop besa sebab nanti all the waranty kena void tu..
but memang mahal lah ko bayar..my hubby service his car di Toyota centre pun nda lah gitu mahal..the first time he service pun baru bayar RM30++ saja..mahal juga nie proton charged orang kan..

Claire iya la..sy nda mau lagi cakap pasal tu. Biarlah sy gembira2 dgn si hitam ni,mmg dijaga dgn baik tu, seperti menatang minyak petrol yg penuh di tangan.

Mell, betul tu you cannot send your new proton for servicing di luar nanti void semua jenis warranty, durang pandai tu nanti kasi macam-macam alasan.

sia pun mcm si gallivanter juga. for the first two years, i sent my car to Proton to be serviced, biar pun mahal. kalau pasal quality of car service, sia puas hati. tapi kalau customer service, memang buli tahan juga hancur lah tu. len kali ko pi antar service, cuba ko spend time baca durang punya guest book.

but ya...regular maintenance will assure you that no matter what type you car is, it will serve you best if you take good care of it. in terms of basic car requirements, im all satisfied with my Gen2. Kalau mau cerita pasal power kah, apa kah...tu lain cerita lah.

hai mell, lama sa inda visit ko nih, tus sa nampak *pic removed ;)* la pula.. inda sempat sa tingu apakah gambar itu hehehe..

sama la situasi service kerita kita ni.. bilang free, sekali bila p ambil balik, RM117 pula dia minta sa arituh.. bingung jua la, inda jua sa menanya..
